This was rad. The framerate is the only thing that I have reservations about, as the presentation in general is really neat. While I have questions about narrative, I suppose that was the point!

This was originally animated at 30 frames per second but I consciously changed the frame rate to 12 to 15 FPS because it just plain looks a lot better. With smoother motion each movement doesn't pop as much and the movements get mushed together. Aesthetically I want this to look more like old-school 2D animation unless like 3D game animation

Looks really nice, but animation is stiff. Now that I read the description, I see a bit more of your process and how you got here. I suggest working in Adobe Animate instead so you can have more freedom with your frames and layers, using After Effects for additional things in post.

I don't know your current level as you mentioned this is your first work from when you were a beginner.

A general note, for art posts and things like that, use the Art portal.

I can't believe a new episode of this godly series is back. Your voice definitely has changed and Cactuar is much less the idiot he was, tonberry less a cynic, now playing this more like a sitcom of two different friends who aren't such extremes. I actually liked that quite a bit. I hope Crazy Boris is not done making more. Loved the other enemy designs as well.
