A very low effort cartoon. It doesn't have enough unique frames to even qualify as a powerpoint presentation.
Low score isn't because I think you suck, I just do not think this is worth more than one star.
EDIT:
In response to the author and to those who don't understand: This is a cartoon with very, very few unique frames of animation. Sure, you can laugh and enjoy it, but there are submissions to the Art portal that have more animation than what is present in this submission. I am scoring this submission based on its merits as an animation. It's extremely low effort, and I doubt the anyone involved in making it would dispute that either. This work is simply not substantive, and I would much rather see something with more effort put into it in the future.
Yes, the motto is "everything by everyone". And just as you have the right to decide what you upload, the users have a right to review it based on their own subjective perspectives. The users also decide what gets to stay and what gets voted off of the portal. That's the entire point of the rating system. Whether or not you feel good about me expecting more from a submission is fine, but this feedback will probably serve you better than a thoughtless 5/5 with no feedback that can't even give you something that will point you toward improving your work. I hope you will take this to heart and work toward improving your animation work in the future.
The motto of the website is literally "everything by everyone" but if you wanna go by what doesn't "qualify" be my guest lol.
edit: I'm fine with you disliking it, I don't expect everyone to be into my humor. And I also agree It's not nearly as many frames as alot of other toons on this site, and is made alot easier and quicker, It's not a fucking cal arts thesis, no shit. Some like happy harry deserves to be front-paged waaaay more than I do. And I have no problem with that.
But feedback like "this is how many frames I'm SUPPOSED to do" feels like arbitrary elitism if your not going to explain how it would improve the joke or the timing. Shit like this is rooted in comparison and not in the actual animation itself. If you explain to me how more frames would have made it funnier, then by all means. but just saying "it should have more frames cause it's more effort and others do it" isn't explaining to me how that would change the viewing experience. hell, for a guy saying theres no substance, you sure seem fixated only the amount of frames and not the designs, timing, and the joke. and it took me a good 3 hours to dub the mouth movements so fuck off with your "less effort than a power point" comment.
I had a good laugh. Work on further improving lip sync. This video got better as it went further along, you can tell that you got more proficient at animating as you kept working on it.
Ayy, thanks for the feedback. I'm hoping to create more animations this year and improve even more!
This piece is beautiful. It's also more on-model between shots than Steven Universe could ever hope to be. Great job!!
This comment made my entire day
PICO DAY: UNLIMITED BLAM WORKS
4/5 to give you something to continue toward. Aim for cleaner work and smoother animation.
A masterpiece.
Truly
I love it. Great job.
Fantastic
I think this is nicely made, but it's a 5 second loop. I know music cannot be supported in the art portal, but I really think this piece would be more appropriate in the art portal.
Sorry about that! 👀💧
Deserves a higher score than it has, so here's a 5/5. If you uploaded this 10 years ago it'd be worshipped on this site.
